We are pleased to be hosting a dinner at Quicks Hole Tavern on April 29, 2017 as part of the “Wine Bed & Breakfast” weekend Cape wide. Our friends at local B&B’s will be sending their guests down to Woods Hole for an incredible spring meal designed by Quicks Hole Tavern executive chef Nat Summerton. Wine dinners are better in springtime!
The event will kick off at 6 pm as you are welcomed with your first wine pairing and a selection of our fine cheese and charcuterie platters. Each course will be paired with a four oz pour of a distinctive wine from our cellar that will enhance the flavors and compliment the food.
The menu for the Wine B&B Weekend wine dinner is as follows:
a selection of Cheese and Charcuterie served on a distinctive wooden platter
with a welcome glass of Lunetta Sparkling Prosecco
Spring Pea Soup with Mint and olive oil
paired with La Fiera 2015 Pinot Grigio
a choice of:
Seared Cod with chorizo, roasted fingerling potatoes, in a fennel and tomato broth OR
Pan Roasted Chicken with local mushrooms, grilled asparagus, and a lemon sabayon
paired with Angeline Reserve 2015 Pinot Noir
a bag of Quicks Hole’s famous donuts with dipping sauce for each table to share
paired with a W&J Grahams Fine Tawny Port Wine
This event is sponsored by the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, which is offering packages such as this one all over Cape Cod on this special weekend. The cost of the wine dinner is $55 per person not including tax or tip. Those staying at local B&B’s will have reservations, get first priority and will be pre-paid but we do ask guests to pay tax and tip at the end of the meal. We will open this dinner for locals if there is availability ten days prior to the event.
Quicks Hole Tavern is located at 29 Railroad Avenue in Woods Hole.
