We all cherish the Shining Sea Bikeway that meanders through some of the most scenic parts of Falmouth. But, have you been out on it lately? Although it’s winter time, the weather has certainly been permitting and if you’re looking for an excuse to try out winter cycling, look no further! The Friends of Shining Sea Bikeway are holding a Winter Hot Chocolate Ride on Saturday, March 18th at 9:00 AM!

Shining Sea Bikeway, Quicks Hole Tavern
Join us as we meet with organizers from Friends of Shining Sea Bikeway at the West Falmouth parking lot, adjacent to the bike path at Old Dock Rd. West Falmouth for a ride to Woods Hole (15.5 miles round trip) or if you’re not feeling up to a full round trip you can join them at Trunk River for a 4-mile ride (meeting at approximately 9:20 AM) or just wait for them to pass anywhere along the bikeway!

At Quicks Hole, we are all about encouraging use of this amazing local resource.  We are proud supporters of the Winter Hot Chocolate Ride. Please join us at Quicks Hole Tavern Saturday morning for free hot cocoa and cookies (home baked by the Friends of Shining Sea Bikeway) at the mid point of this fun winter activity.
