We’re thrilled to host a Devils Purse craft beer dinner at Quicks Hole Tavern on April 21 as part of a “Beer, Bed & Breakfast” weekend in Falmouth! Our friends at local B&Bs will be sending their guests down to Woods Hole village for a decadent spring meal designed by Quicks Hole Tavern executive chef Nat Summerton, and for this special event, we’ll be teaming up with Devil’s Purse Brewing Company in South Dennis. It doesn’t get more local than that!
The event will kick off at 6 pm as you are welcomed with your first craft brew and a selection of our fine cheese and charcuterie platters. Each course will be paired with a four-ounce pour carefully selected by the folks at Devil’s Purse that will enhance the flavors and complement the food.
The menu for the Devils Purse Craft Beer B&B Weekend is as follows:
a selection of Cheese and Charcuterie served on a distinctive wooden platter with a welcome pour of Devils Purse local brew
First Course – Arugula & Sweet Pea Soup with creme fraiche & pickled radish
Second Course – Vegetarian Spring Rolls with a sweet and sour dipping sauce
Third Course – Seared Sea Scallops with cauliflower puree, confit pork belly, sauteed spinach, butter poached baby carrots, and crispy shallots
Fourth Course – Chocolate Beet Cake, topped with chocolate ganache, served with homemade cream cheese ice cream
This event is sponsored by the Woods Hole Inn and Treehouse Lodge both of which are offering packages for this special spring weekend event. The cost of the craft beer dinner is $45 per person not including drinks, tax or tip. We will open this dinner for locals if there is availability ten days prior to the event.
Quicks Hole Tavern is located at 29 Railroad Avenue in Woods Hole. Please note, there is ample free street parking after 6 pm at this time of the year.
