Parking Tips for Woods Hole
There are over 200 metered spaces for short term Woods Hole parking intended for local restaurants and businesses. Bring quarters — it’s 25 cents per fifteen minutes with a maximum of two hours. These meters are not for Vineyard Bound travelers, and there is no overnight parking on the streets of Woods Hole.
On the weekend in summertime, there is also short term pay parking ($4 for three hours) intended for patrons of Woods Hole businesses in several nearby lots.
Year round, overnight pay parking is also available at a lot next door to us on Railroad Avenue. In the off season, this lot is usually $15 per calendar day.
Ride the Shining Sea Bike Path — join the thousands of Falmouth families who ride into Woods Hole on this safe and beautiful bike path.
Take the Whoosh Trolley — in summer, the town of Falmouth operates a trolley from downtown Falmouth to Woods Hole. It runs regularly, costs $1 and is a delightful ride in an open-air train trolley. For free parking, park at the Walmart lot (also known as the Falmouth Mall) and ride through downtown Falmouth to Woods Hole (a half hour). The schedule is here.
